Concord Compounding Expands PVC Processing Operations with the Purchase of Two New Farrel Continuous Mixers

Ansonia, CT (May 29, 2024)... Concord Compounding Limited (CCL), a premier compounder of PVC based in Concord, Ontario, Canada has announced a $4 million investment in its growth with the purchase of two new CP2500 Farrel Continuous Mixers.

These two new systems will be installed at CCL’s Concord facility, and will substantially enhance CCL’s manufacturing capabilities, process efficiencies, and quality standards, said Munish Jain, General Manager at CCL. “With this new investment, CCL is well-positioned to meet the evolving needs of our valued customers while continuing to solidify our position as an industry leader,” he said.

Prior to their purchase of the two new CP2500 machines, CCL visited Farrel Pomini’s US headquarters in Ansonia, CT to run lab trials and prove-out the machines’ capabilities for compounding Rigid PVC.  Dr. Peng Ye, Applications Development Manager, for FARREL POMINI, said that the Farrel Continuous Mixer’s low process temperature, short residence time and efficient rotor shear make it an ideal system for processing temperature sensitive materials.  “Our two companies have worked closely together to ensure the best mixing systems for CCL’s needs, to help them develop new products and improve their production capabilities,” he said.
